While those of you in the North are making snowmen, and Australia is scorching, here in Florida we're somewhere in between. We've had a good amount of rain, it's windy, and cold enough for us to have to blanket some of the trees & shrubs.
Normally, we don't need a mudroom, but definitely could have used one this morning.
Silly me, I let him in.

I love Friday! I just love the look on his face. A mud room. That sounds nice. My problem is the salt they spread on the sidewalks to melt the ice. It's necessary or I'd be in frequent danger of falling. But Margaret, Biscuit and I are all tracking it in and the floor is covered with salt crystals that go crunch, crunch underfoot.
Lisa, is that all your property?
My kitchen is the mud room...
Roll on Summer!
I remember it well, Karen! Crunch, crunch. I kind of miss it -- but not how the salt colors your shoes white. This was taken on a street near my house.
Oh, Norm, nooooo!
Lisa. I thought "cold enough for us to have to blanket some of the trees & shrubs" meant that the X's were protecting the shrubbery at their expansive estate. ;-) I think of you as part of the landed gentry.
Aw, love your photo of green trees and blue sky! Makes me want to pack my beach bag and head down I-65.
Can I have a blanket too....?
